The 2020 design year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Z car, so Nissan has revealed brand-new packaging for limited-edition 50 th anniversary models of the 2020 370 Z. The initial Datsun 240 Z debuted in New York 50 years earlier, promising both fun and racing. The brand-new Z does the exact same.

Shortly after the 240 Z was revealed, a Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) variation of the car, known now as #46 BRE, struck the track. It began a cascade of triumphs for Nissan/Datsun in North American motorsports. The red-on-white and black-on-gray livery of the #46 BRE is recreated on the new 2020 Nissan 370 Z 50 th Anniversary designs.

The 2020 Nissan 370 Z will be offered in 4 trim levels, beginning with the base design and moving through the Sport, Sport Touring, and Sport Nismo. The unique 50 th Anniversary edition of the 370 Z is based on the Sport design, which Nissan considers to be the design that represents “true lover spirit.”

The BRE design cues on the 370 Z 50 th Anniversary Edition include the signature side stripes on the vehicle’s side, and the solid matching colors on the hood and deck cover. The side mirrors and A-pillars are likewise accentuated with that stripe color, as are the thin lines running from the headlight to the rear glass. A small triangle on the C-pillar of the 370 Z admires the pillar shape of the Datsun 240 Z, while a 50 th Anniversary badge on the cars and truck and accents for the interior also denote this scandal sheet.

Inside, an unique 50 th Anniversary steering wheel covered in Alcantara with a race-inspired center stripe is seen. Leather-appointed seating and suede-covered cushions have stitching and graphics likewise representing the vehicle’s 50 th Anniversary Edition status.
