The 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China has been marked with a huge military parade showcasing brand-new weapons innovation– consisting of nuclear global ballistic rockets and supersonic drones. President Xi Jinping and other leaders based on the Tiananmen rostrum ignoring the packed square. Throughout a speech, Xi stated that ‘no force can shake this excellent nation’. He also stated he was dedicated to a ‘serene reunification and one country, 2 systems’ for Hong Kong and Macau, and ‘peace’ and ‘reunification’ with Taiwan
