Reebok Unveils Aztrek Double Silhouette in Eerie “Storm the Court” Project

Reebok has released its ’90 s-influenced “Sport The Unforeseen” project, revealing with it an upgraded take on its original Aztrek sneaker. Dubbed the Aztrek Double, the new kicks feature a bulkier shape that recall the chunky aesthetic and sentimental ambiance of the period that influenced the visuals.

To debut the sneakers, Reebok started its marketing with a video entitled “Storm the Court.” The eerie spot includes the shoes in action on the basketball court, but used by an individual who might otherwise appear irregular for the setting– driving home the brand’s “unexpected” aspect. “The traditional requires a shock to the system. The very same old, same old needs some shocking. Be the thing that no one sees coming,” Reebok stated in the caption.

Key functions of the Aztrek Double include its stocky, studded outsole that lend it a thicker shape than the first Aztrek. Synthetic suede makes up the upper, which maintains the asymmetrical style of the throwback version. The business’s Hexalite technology is included for boosted cushioning. In addition to the all-white edition highlighted in the project, the style is offered in pastel blue and light purple.
